Two years ago, I was searching for a new school for my granddaughter. I knew she was capable of better grades than she was getting at IPS. I first looked at charter schools, but few of them offered transportation. Then one day, I received a post card from Providence Cristo Rey. As I read through the list of incentives I was amazed! It was exactly what I was searching for: small class size, qualified and dedicated teachers, all in a spiritual environment! The best part of all was that this private college prep school was affordable through participation in a work study program for the students. Now two years later, my granddaughter has 3.93 GPA instead of the c’s and d’s she was bringing home from her former school! She has already received offers for programs from other educational forums and colleges, and at age 17 has two years work experience at a forensics laboratory. There is no doubt in my mind: Providence Cristo Rey has played a major role in my child’s educational achievements.
